Blogs Worth Reading

First on the list, is another gem from Sultan Knish.

We snicker at fools who took the Mayan apocalypse seriously, but people who would never hide out in a basement because of some ancient prophecy listen to media buffoons drawing up lists of what parts of the world will be underwater in ten years or twenty and take the whole ridiculous thing seriously.

Read the rest  here.

For a great read on Christmas, go to Wolf Howling.

These above, are 2 fine reads on this 2nd day of Christmas. To all my Christian friends, Merry Christmas.  To the fools celebrating Kwanzaa, the first link depicts your company very well. If you don't change your ways, you will burn painfully in Hell.

Trends

The contemptible Eric Holder recently opened his maggot ridden orifice and the stench that emerged from it, questioned our freedoms; specifically he wants to talk about our gun rights. This is from the same accessory to countless murders in Mexico - the filth that armed Mexican drug lords during Fast and Furious.

His boss - Obama, armed and arms jihadists and terrorists in North Africa. Remember Benghazi? The American embassy was also rendered a virtual gun free zone by this atrocity of a government. Holder, why don't you talk to the family of ambassador Stevens about the ambassador's disarmed security detail.

Tragic Day

There is evil in this world and we must protect ourselves from it. Some are calling for a ban on private gun ownership in this country.  These folks should be reminded that in Israel, the Palestinian terrorist would like nothing better than a disarmed and helpless Israeli parent.  However, out of necessity, that will never be the case. While in this country such crimes are perpetrated by a lone psychopath and thankfully such people are rare, in Israel they have millions of blood thirsty murderers waiting for their chance to kill a child.

Here is what a real deterrent to such tragedy looks like.

Staff Meeting 2012

I sat through an hour of bloviations by various administrators about how the new health care law will impact our industry.  As I looked around the room and watched the faces of my fellow workhorses, they appeared disconnected from one another and from this room. They were either thinking of problems they were haunted by at work or problems they are yet to face at home.  I guess most of us need an escape during these times.

The message from administration was pretty simple: more work and less hay, giddy-up. The funny thing is that the same administrators who tell us to make do with less, have been looting us for years. They spent and keep spending millions of dollars on useless projects that are run by their friends and school dropout relatives.

The head honcho gave a short speech about how he had to duck out from another important meeting because he was "axed" to come here and grace us with his presence, and how happy he is to see some of the old faces again.  We were told to count our blessings but that some of us may need to be fired in the near future because there is just not enough money to offer all the services our hospital offers to this neighborhood. Weird: every offered service is a money drain.

One of the changes we're told to expect is that patient satisfaction will be tied to our reimbursement; that is if patients do not rate our hospital highly enough, our reimbursement will be cut by 7%.  On the surface it seems like a reasonable plan. However, that surface becomes very quickly tainted if one ponders the ramifications of this system being applied to the county hospital.

Every county hospital cares for a population of pissed off, poorly educated, non-compliant, and self destructive psychopaths if compared to the group usually seen in a nice private hospital.  These folks will complain no matter how well they are treated and the hospital will have to cut the available services. The doctors will be wise to get the hell out of there as soon as they're able. The residents will still get their training there, because you can save a lot with slave labor.

I guess that this game has been going on for years, and obamacare is just the latest installment. Just another way to loot us. Why should you be concerned about something that is specific to my specific institution? Because, it's not just health care. It is every industry in America.  Al Gore's carbon credits will also become the law of the land.

Meaning of Chanukah

Over 2,000 years ago the Jews were subjugated by a tyrant. Antiochus the IVth, ruler of the Seleucid empire, looted the Temple and installed a statue of Zeus there.  For a time, many Jews went along with these changes. Judaism was outlawed and people were instructed to pray to Zeus. Antiochus banned circumcision and ordered for the slaughter of pigs to be done in the Temple. Eventually, people rebelled and to the surprise of many, they were successful in ousting the Seleucid Greeks. The Temple was cleaned up and, according to the stories, only one non-defiled jar of oil was recovered. That oil was used for lighting the Shabbat lamp and rather than burning one night, it burned for 8 days and nights. This is the miracle of lights, and we've been partying in memory of that event ever since. It was proof that God didn't forsake us.

The moral of the story is, God helps those who help themselves.

Scary Employment Numbers

While various news outlets tout the decrease of unemployment number to 7.7 in an effort to pat Obama and each other for a job well done, the details of November unemployment numbers reveal something truly frightening.  The breakdown according to ages shows that older Americans are going back work and cannot afford to retire, while the 24-54 age group are being booted out of the workforce. Look at the image below: jobs gained were in the 54-69 age group while there was a huge loss of jobs in the age younger age group.

What are all these 20, 30, and 40 somethings going to do with their time? They cannot afford to start a family or to maintain one. They cannot pay back their student loans. They might just start tearing up the place.  Read the full article here.

Floater

Is this a piece of shit floating in piss?

Will this turd rise or sink?

Artistic expression by Glen Beck.

Secession

Maybe it was the 2 pints of beer that I drank this evening, that made a recent post by Ed Rasimus seem so very logical. On the other hand, our first president, George Washington, certainly understood the value of alcohol during war.  It removes fear from your mind, and under the right set of circumstances, your thoughts actually become clearer.

We are at war. That is a fact. The recently lost election doesn't mean that the war has been lost. If the winners of this recent election mean to enslave you and yours, then quite a few people will find their will and the means to continue fighting back.

So, lots of pundits recently called the talk of secession and these petitions to the White House, crazy talk. They imagine the people who sign these petitions as some ill bred mutants with IQ's in single digits, while others say that signing your name onto this petition is just asking for federal trouble. They  all want this nonsense to be quickly dismissed and forgotten, so that we can move onto more civilized topics.

Well, I don't think that this talk of secession is nonsense and I can think of a number of recent socialist utopia states that broke apart. The biggest and the most important was the Soviet Union.  In its end, secession was quite sane and a very effective means to end a very bad relationship with the central government.

Also, lets consider what really destroyed that evil empire: it was a weak economy.  What do we have in the country formerly know as the "Land of Free and the Home of the Brave"?  We have a very weak economy and considering our current heading, it will only become weaker. Sure the federal government may, in desperate times, become more ruthless and appear more threatening but, it's real strength will only spiral down as its economic health deteriorates.  The European Union will also dissolve, and for the same core reasons.

People can poo-poo these secession petitions all they want, but eventual dissolution of our United States is the road we're on. I don't really see many alternate paths at this point.

Promises of Peace.

Aesop's Fables

Translated by George Fyler Townsend

The Wolves and the Sheep

"WHY SHOULD there always be this fear and slaughter between us?" said the Wolves to the Sheep. "Those evil-disposed Dogs have much to answer for. They always bark whenever we approach you and attack us before we have done any harm. If you would only dismiss them from your heels, there might soon be treaties of peace and reconciliation between us." The Sheep, poor silly creatures, were easily beguiled and dismissed the Dogs, whereupon the Wolves destroyed the unguarded flock at their own pleasure.

We in the conservative blogosphere, discuss the ridiculous measures that Israeli politicians, self appointed masters from the UN, and our own American seemingly mindless politicians try to use to establish peace in the Middle East.  All these measures boil down to getting rid of the watchdogs, so that there will be peaceful co-existence between wolves and sheep. This recent Israeli-Palestinian cease fire agreement can be simply characterized as: insanity prevails once more among the silly sheep.

For reasons that seem bizarre to us, the liberal talking heads promote the removal of defensive measures. We look at them and think, these people can't possibly be this stupid.

When liberal politicians win elections, we are left bewildered thinking how could so many people buy into this insanity. The truth is that not all liberal socialists are silly sheep. Wolves hide among them. We think it is enough to focus on the silliness of the sheep; we believe that our real fight is with the sheep.

Disguised by wearing the hides of progressive sheep, these wolves stealthily create the rules that favor only themselves. Whether it is an attack on our first and second amendments, or an immeasurable number of other edicts that weaken the individual citizen, the goal is always the same. This goal remains to remove the guard dogs and so that the wolves can slaughter the sheep at will.

A Sad Day For Our Republic.

Allen West conceded the congressional seat to a cheat and a liar. This election fraud was perpetrated by many people including a county election supervisor named Gertrude Walker. The fact that Allen West wouldn't surrender his fight for so long, deserves praise.

In the end, he realized that the corruptocrats were too deeply embedded and that this battle was lost. However, the war is far from over. I will not give up and I am proud to be part of this country's majority of citizens.

To my fellow Americans: find your courage and stand with us. Our day of victory will come.

The Stink of Benghazi

Israeli cities are under attack. Missiles have reached Tel Aviv. Mortar fire is coming out of Syria and Jordan may soon fall to Muslim Brotherhood. Where did these missiles that reached Tel Aviv come from? Apparently some of them, came to Gaza from Libya.  Hmm... Where did Obama topple a relatively benign dictator to empower Al-Qaeda groups? Libya! What was Stevens doing in Benghazi? He was involved in weapons trade, among other things. Terrorists in Gaza now have effective anti-aircraft weapons. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were US made.

I now wish to thank every one of the 70% of American Jews that voted for Obama. You all have blood on your hands, and I wish nothing more to do with you. To my delusional progressive liberal family and friends: FUCK OFF! Fuck off now and forever.

Progressive Dictators.

Three countries, important to our world, have seen a recent change in their governance.  In each case, the change has been for the worse.

First there was Turkey; it used to be a democratic outpost in the near east.  Now it is governed by Muslim fundamentalists and in many ways, Erdogan is Turkey's new dictator. The old military guard in Turkey, that vowed to protect its democracy, was quickly dispatched with.

Then came Egypt. Egypt did have a dictator, and if you're  a Muslim fanatical murderer, you might like the new Egypt. However, anyone else is far worse off. Egyptian military that was praised as a force of reason in the area, is gone. Morsi got rid of them faster than anyone thought possible.

Now, we come to the good old USA. Obama orchestrated a stinking farce of an election, and is now getting rid of this nation's military leadership. I am certain that their replacements won't take any oath to protect the constitution, seriously. They will be his men. Obama rules by executive edict and the media has become nothing more than a propaganda arm for the federal government. He is our dictator and may yet prove to be the most blood thirsty of these three. At least Erdogan and Morsi like their national majorities. Obama hates the majority of the population in this country.

General Sideshow.

The revelation of Petraeus supposed affair is meant to distract public eyes. Oh look at the CIA director: he betrayed his wife; he resigned over a sordid sex scandal... LOOK SQUIRREL!

Whether or not he had some affair has no bearing on his needed testimony on Benghazi. What cowardice on the part of Petraeus is being displayed at this time. This is how he ends his service to the country: to be used as a sideshow.  Subpoena this idiot and then impeach his puppet master - Obama.

I want obama to become a derogatory term for the next 200 years; he must be brought to justice. Congress critters, show that you can at least rise to the level of being called vertebrates.

What We Lost

The American dream is gone. It ended during the night of November 6th, 2012. Teach your children guile and to hold their tongue. Honesty is weakness.  Want to be a work horse, go ahead but it will not earn you anything other than scorn from your peers. Want to pretend you still have a voice in this government, then go on pretending; especially if it makes it easier to go to sleep at night.  It is night-time for America. Lock your doors well.

The Hangover

Perhaps we were all drinking and acting foolishly, while the other side was laughing at us. We thought we had sound reason, but now our pockets are picked clean and our clothes look like someone walked all over them. I have no pill for this headache and it will be a very long hangover.

Wishful Thinking

I've been and will remain very busy this weekend, working at medical shelter/field triage facility. There I am surrounded by EMT's, nurses, and doctors who came from very far to help with hurricane relief. They are a pretty gun ho bunch, full of good will, and it has been reassuring to be around them  in that our society isn't doomed.

The locals like me share stories about the damage their homes sustained and the most common topic of concern for everyone is the gasoline shortage. Most people have exhausted their car reserve and are trying to get rides from others. I can get a ride from my hospital to this shelter in our official shuttle. So I asked the driver where he got his gasoline. I thought that there might be special pumps for emergency vehicles, and there might be, but in this case he was just as unfortunate as the rest of us. He has 2 vehicles at his disposal. One is out of gas and the one we were riding in, his co-worker spent 6 hours waiting on line to gas up.  One of our affiliated hospitals does have a pump for their own vehicles but they have refused to help with our vehicles, and in this shortage, I can see why.

When I got home yesterday, I heard all sorts of rumors from people. One rumor was of a special location where NY transit employees would be rationed 5 gallons of gasoline per day; someone wasted several gallons driving there only to find out that this story was untrue. Other people talk of out of the way locations where there is gas easily available but these locations are pretty far out of reach and don't seem real to me. Who has enough fuel to drive somewhere for several hours anymore?  Furthermore, each time a rumor starts I hear of someone who actually went to this facility only to find that they are out of gas.

Yesterday morning, I saw a 5 block long line of cars standing still. I recognized some of the people on this line as my neighbors. When I finally drove past the station, I saw a sign out front that said "NO GAS", but the cars weren't moving anywhere. They were parked along bus stops and everyone just sat there awaiting the next delivery.  I worked a 36 hour shift, and went to sleep as soon as I came home. In the evening I walked down the many flights of my building as the elevators were out of service, and will likely remain this way for the next week, and walked over to this gas station. The scene didn't change. Same cars were still standing there.

Soon I will be leaving for another 36 hour shift, and I have just enough gas for one more round trip to work.  Then, it will be election day and I really hope that afterwards things will change for the better.

Frustration Mounts

NYC has become something ugly in the aftermath of hurricane Sandy.  A gas truck rolled up to one of the few functioning gas stations in Brooklyn and cars immediately lined; a fight broke out between several people trying to edge one another out in this gas line. Now cops are needed to police gas stations.  Decency has gone out the window and everyone is out for themselves.

This is what happens when an overcrowded city is strained by a natural disaster past its ability to support its population. People will die.

Interestingly the Gadsen Times has a nice article on the current state of NYC.

Flooding Along the Shore.

Here is a photo of the Belt Parkway. It is completely flooded and normally the water level is about 10-15 feet below the shore line. Now, the freeway is completely under water and I can hear ocean waves crashing near my window. I must say that overall, it is a very pleasant change when compared to honking and speeding cars, and  especially thundering motorcycles.

My main concern is whether the water will recede enough so that I can drive on this freeway to work tomorrow.

National Disgrace

So Powell, how is that endorsement of Obama working out? This is the guy who let a couple of soldiers sit in harms way for hours, laser targeting a mortar that was firing at them, and he wouldn't even send a drone to take it out. It appears that the lives of American soldiers have become nearly worthless under your endorsed candidate. You Colin Powell is a disgrace to the uniform that you once wore.  All the honors bestowed on you were inappropriately given and should be removed from your possession. As far as your name is concerned, it is dirt. Why did you endorse Obama? Because of petty racist ties. So go and suck the zits out of Farrakhan's butt, because you are both the same type of trash.

It still surprises me that not one word about is mentioned about Benghazi on popular news sites like the Google news summary.  These stories are being scrapped off the main page by partisan hacks.  They are embarrassed of their president.  Everyone associated with Obama is a disgrace.

Cowards

How else do you describe a man who tries to blame others for his failures. At the beginning of this week, Obama tried to have Hillary take the blame for Benghazi. Hillary sort of took responsibility, but at the end of this week, it still wasn't clear exactly what she called herself responsible for.

It's like 2 adolescents getting caught after making a mess. When asked who is responsible, Obama quickly pointed to Hillary and she frantically tried to wave her finger in some other direction.

Later on in the week, at the town-hall debate, Obama shamelessly lied about his behavior after 9/11/2012.  While many saw him as a lying coward, the left were ecstatic about his performance at that debate. They see Obama as their own reflection.  That's half of the country - lying and sniveling cowards.

21st Century Medical Ethics.

I was discussing physician's responsibilities with some young doctors today, and started to appreciate that there is a great divide between myself and them when it comes to a central question in medical ethics. This question concerns whether the doctor should feel that his primary responsibility is to the patient in front of him, or to the community. When it comes to lawyers, this question has a clear answer: the responsibility is to protect your client.  When a lawyer betrays his client's trust and reveals client's secrets to others, that lawyer is disbarred.  In medicine, the answer used to be the same: that is, a doctor's first and foremost responsibility is to the patient in front of him. However, every one of my young colleagues thought that our main responsibility is to protect the community.  That seemed like such a foreign concept to me.

From a business perspective, if someone pays you for a service, you must honor that agreement. Therefore, if a patient pays a doctor a set fee to provide a service and that doctor accepts this fee, it seems ridiculous if the said doctor would then tell the patient that due to shortage of resources the service can no longer be performed.  If the deal is broken, at the very least, the payment must be returned and the other person compensated in some way for all the trouble.  Good luck on trying to obtain services through Medicare in 10 years.

We also talked about what I would want if a stroke left me incapacitated and I was no longer able to communicate, had to be fed through a tube, and breathe with the assistance of a mechanical ventilator. I said that if I could still observe my loved ones growing up, that this would be enough of a reason for me to continue to live. They seemed shocked.  To them it was a clear waste of precious resources.

I explained further that after many years of paying into a medical insurance system and not having utilized it one bit, I would not feel any remorse if such a scenario that I described above would mean that I would then withdraw all these deposited sums and have expensive medical services used on myself.  This was not an ethical dilemma for me.  It was a simple business transaction during which I payed into an insurance plan and then being able to utilize this plan if a need should arise.

So why do my colleagues see this so differently?

There answer has a great deal to do with money.  One thing that has changed from the time that I entered medicine is that the relationship between a doctor and a patient in which the patient pays for the doctor's service is no longer the standard.  Now it is far more likely that this payment comes from some form of government, be it city, state, or federal.  If the primary payer is the government, then the doctor must honor this payer's wishes.  Also, many of the patients I now treat have not contributed anything towards their treatment but demand a great deal. They often lie to obtain disability and home aid services. Sometimes they lie to get medications, that they later sell. It then becomes understandable to see such people primarily as burdens on the rest of us.

What will happen when the role of a fee for service physician is phased out and only a single payer-government medical service remains? The doctor will be an agent of the government and the doctor's sole responsibility will be to enforce government policies.  To me, this sounds terrible.

One of the selling points of a government run health care system is that it would make medical care less expensive.  There are voices calling for setting limits to physician salaries.

In the end however, this may not turn out as such a rotten deal for doctors.  There is an old story about a Greek physician by the name of Melampus. In that story, the king of Argos asks Melampus to cure his 3 daughters from an acute case of acquired insanity. Melampus asks for half the kindom as payment and the kings tells him to get lost. Later, when all the women of Argos become striken with insanity the king asks Melampus for help again, and this time he agrees to a payment of his entire kingdom and for his daughters to marry Melampus and his brother.

The moral of that ancient tale is: pay the doctor his fee, or else you will later pay twice as much. All  those who believe that American medicine is too expensive and that if only we could control doctors' salaries by making these doctors work for the government might wake up one day to realize that their doctor has taken control of their government.  What if you should become a burden to this new government?

To return to the question of ethics, we are all better off with the patient-doctor relationship being based on a small business model. That is something that we can all live with.

Choices.

To all conservatives out there lamenting that Romney is too weak and that he might turn out to be same sort of turkey as Obama.

Obama will definitely be just like Obama in his first turn. He may even become more unhinged and worse. So if you are wondering about Romney, realize that he is the only chance for improvement that you have left.

Don't be stupid. At the very least, vote for the chance for improvement.

Misinformation

The attack on the American embassy in Cairo was organized to demand that the blind sheikh who masterminded the original attack on the World Trade Center be released. The attack in Libya was likely a payback for some dead jihadist and a way to commemorate 9/11 anniversary.

Every state official who says it was about some stupid trailer on YouTube is lying through their teeth. Every one of these lying bastards deserves to be jailed.

We deserve better from our government.  How do we explain giving our money to such liars and thugs?

Distractions

It's becoming very difficult to know which head of the hydra is being used as a feint and which one is aiming to bite you in the behind.

On 9/11 we were subjected to a series of misinformation ads from various Arab and AP sources about why the Muslims are upset and attacking American embassies. First, we heard that it was some Israeli Jew who made some obnoxious movie, then we heard it is some Egyptian Christian, and the latest news questions even the existence of this movie. It may only be a trailer, and this latest offense to Arab sensibilities may have been funded by....Egyptian Arabs.

Along with this nonsense, there are stories about how Obama pissed on Netanyahu, how Hillary didn't do her job protecting American consulates, how Romney was subjected to a coordinated attack by reporters, and how Iranians are getting ready to blow everyone up.

Somewhere in the middle of all this, we hear in muffled voices ..... QE3.

So, to sum up this week:

Muslims hate the U.S. and it's the fault of the Jews or Christians.
Obama has an idiotic foreign policy, but Hillary can be blamed for American consulate deaths.
The MSM still hates Republicans.
Iranians are up to no good.
Soon you all will be too poor to give a damn.

Hopelessness.

I just watched a bizarre film called "Never Let Me Go". In it, British kids are raised as organ donors and they eventually "accept their fate" and die on the operating table.  Apparently there are debates going on in England about the ethics of selling organs on the open market....

Is there anyone in this liberal nightmare willing to fight for their lives? No wonder they've joined up with the death cultists known as Muslims.

The Soul of Liberty.

"Institutionalists like Obama do not believe in the individual, they believe that the individual is the root of all evil. They see him as an exploiter, a free rider, a breaker of commitments, a smasher of idols and a disruptor of their plans. They wrongly believe that the individual owes them something for the privilege of living under their rule and they are wrong in this. It is they who are indebted for their parasitism, for their free ride on his back, for the muzzle they have put in his mouth and the spurs they have planted in his side.

The art of building things is a simple art. It is the art of learning about the world as it is, of learning what one's own hands and mind are capable of. And above all else it is the art of being free."

Why I am starting to love the North Korean fearless new leader.

News about Kim Jong Un has already brought a smile to my face twice this week. First, there was this nutty story about his application to the Mickey Mouse club. Now he is parading around with a girl famous for the hit single called : Excellent Horse-Like Lady.

The world no longer has Ka-Daffy with his troupe of tall blond Amazon body guards, but little Kim is well on his way to providing us with even more wacky laughs.

Anyway, I look forward to the next North Korean most horse-like lady competition. Apparently, the democratic chair - Debbie Wasserman Schultz, is already in the running.

Does she have any plough experience?

Is Justice Roberts Demented?

This is a serious question. The other 4 liberal justices were probably cretins from birth and their actions are more understandable. Roberts, on the other hand, was made into chief justice because at some point in his life, he had shown himself to be competent. Now, with the recent Arizona ruling and this incomprehensible Obamacare dribble, there is good reason to question his competence.  Has he become demented?

Dementia can be a consequence of various long standing illnesses. During the past century, latent syphilis was one of the most common causes of dementia and it still remains an important cause of mental degeneration. Other common conditions that adversely affect one's brain include drug abuse, uncontrolled hypertension, and strokes.  Alzheimer's  usually affects someone older, but it can also occur in people who reach Roberts' age.

In any case, does the ruling of someone mentally unfit for the job have any merit?  The only reason to obey this insanity is the threat of violence from the federal tyranny.  That is not a sign of a lawful society.  Instead, it is a sign of a lawless society governed by violent thugs.  If history is to be believed, there is only one way to end the tyranny of violent thugs. Prepare for the worst.

Funny Money

Europe is facing an existential threat: Italy is threatening to print their own euros, and Greece and Spain are threatening to return to drachmas and pesos.

Some crazy person on a TV show is screaming that the US must now send trillions of dollars to help bail out Europe.  It does make one wonder, how is one funny piece of paper any different from another?

The Emperor Has No Clothes.

What will it take to rid us of the jackass who currently roams the halls of our White House?

The well paid-off network broadcasters and previously reputable news outlets sing praises of Obama and propagandize the American populace. But many see through the lies. Obama is a petty conman. His policies are idiotic and every project he undertakes, ends in disaster.

The answer is simple.

The entire den of liars and thieves would collapse if in the next classroom he visits, a child calls him for what he is. Expose the lie. What news outlet will attack a child's truthful words? They have sunk low, but low enough to cannibalize a child? They might try to hide the encounter, but if it ever gets broadcast...
Obama and his whole rotten administration will be run out of town.

The emperor has no clothes.

Who will speak this truth?

Did Obama Perform Gay Favors for Drugs?

Obama's high school days have recently come under scrutiny and we learn that he was a member of a clique whose main reason for being was to smoke marijuana. Choom is a verb that specifically means to smoke pot.  His yearbook photo basically summarizes what he did throughout high school.

In the caption, Obama gives thanks to his pot-head friends and singles out Ray the drug dealer - interesting. No girlfriend acknowledgement, nothing about his mother but, a drug dealer is prominently thanked. This Ray was a long haired hippie drug dealer, lived in a bus at an abandoned factory, and was eventually murdered by his scorned gay lover.  Now, unless Obama had a steady flow of income to pay for his drugs, there is a good chance that he used alternative methods of payment.  Since it is a fair assumption that he played sports and smoked pot all day long, he probably didn't have much time for work. He still doesn't.

So, Obama and Ray had some good times....

Q: What sort of man whores himself to other men for drugs?

Q: Who or what wouldn't he sell out?

We must not allow our country to be subject to his pathological whims any longer. I am not enthusiastic about Romney, but my God, just about anyone will be an improvement over Obama.

Weirder and Weirder - Down the Rabbit Hole We Go. (Update and Correction)

As I read about Obama's Kenyan birth today, I saw a picture of his birth certificate among one of the various posts that I came across. Just glancing at it, I noticed that his mother was very young when she gave birth to him. How young? 18.

Hmmmm
Mmmmmmmm

Calculating the estimated day of conception, she would have just barely turned 18 when she became pregnant with BHO jr.

Was Obama's father a rapist?

Update.

I forgot just how messed up his mother was.  If you care to see her porn photos, you can easily find them on the web.

So let get this straight: Obama is a product of a child rapist and a teenager who let dirty old men take nude photos of her. He was raised by Marxists who hate this country, and he is a pathological liar.

I am beginning to understand why so many Democrats voted for a convict in jail during the primary. At least that guy in jail is....in jail.

Correction: If you use a date of conception calculator, Obama was supposedly conceived in early November 1960, while his mother was still 17 years old. So, Obama Sr. was guilty of statutory rape.

Obama the Kenyan. (Updated)

Ok, this is a big deal. Breitbart.com just posted a story about Obama's literary agent claiming that he was born in Kenya. BHO's bio listed him as being born in Kenya, raised in Indonesia and Hawaii, and was distributed by his publisher as far back as 1991. The listing didn't change until months after he made his presidential bid in 2007.

One could say that it is simply an overlooked mistake.

Overlooked by his publisher, even after he became a national figure as a U.S. senator?

Overlooked for sixteen years?

Obama never reviewed this information and never signed off on its veracity?

Well, to quote that broken clock of a vice president - Joe Biden:  "This is a Big F'ing Deal"

-Even a broken clock is right twice each day.

(Update)

Another interesting and related story. In a New Jersey Court, Obama's lawyer admits that his long form birth certificate is a forgery. Then claims that the fake birth certificate is irrelevant....

Bizarre....

Am I living inside a Twilight Zone episode?

Nanny and Ninny City: Land of 1,000 Insane Regulations

Today I drove to Manhattan with some visiting relatives. I hate driving into the city because it is always such a hassle to find a parking spot, but the upside of being there is the ability to tour grand museums and sample food prepared by master chefs.

My visitors brought kids and we all decided to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is an amazing place filled with inspiring works of art; some of the pieces date back 6,000 years and there are huge rooms filled with paintings by such masters as Van Gogh and Degas.

After finally finding a parking place that was only a 10 minute walk from the museum, we nearly ran to its entrance as 1/2 of our party desperately needed a bathroom. While the others were using the facilities, I went to pay the entrance fees.

At the Metropolitan Museum of art, visitors have to wear a small pin that indicates they paid admission.  A child's fare is far cheaper than that of an adult and being in the company of 2 newly turned teenagers, I paid for 3 adults and 2 kids.  To my surprise, I received only 3 pins. When I asked about the 2 additional pins, I was informed that it is museum policy to restrict these pins to only adults because children can place such pins into their mouths and choke on them. I tried reassuring the clerk at the front desk that these kids and too old for such concerns, but he remained firm and told me that he is not comfortable endangering the lives of innocent kids.

Not wanting to see the disappointment on my nieces faces, I searched for a way to overcome his idiotic obstructionism. The guy I was dealing with seemed to be in his early 20's and I looked around for someone else who was wiser and better capable of handling responsibility, to attempt reasoning with.  I found an intelligent appearing older woman who was sitting behind a whole bowl of these pins, showed her my receipt for 5 admission tickets and told her that I would like 2 more pins for the teen girls. Kids under 12 qualify for the reduced fare, and my nieces are 10 and 11, respectively.  With a pleasant smile, she said that she cannot in good conscience give such pins to these girls for fear of a lawsuit, but instead offered me a family friendly paper flyer to give to them instead of a pin. I should have asked her if she feared a lawsuit based on age discrimination or perhaps one resulting from the possibility that someone might choke on this flyer, but I just shook my head in disbelief and quietly left.

NYC is has truly become a place of insane regulations taken to insane extremes. In the Summer, I cannot swim or even wet my feet at any of the public beaches because the residents of NYC are too dumb and helpless to enjoy the water without the benevolent presence of a lifeguard. At 5 PM, lifeguards go home and legions of fat park-security guards roam the beaches whistling at anyone who dares to approach the water. Any argument, even from someone dressed in rolled up pants so that he might enjoy walking in ankle deep water, will result in a call for police intervention and further threats. As someone who works during the day and can only come to the beach after 5, I am regulated to sit on the sand and stare longingly at the cooling water that lies beyond my reach.  Now in museums, teenagers cannot be trusted to wear a pin, because they might for some inexplicable reason start choking on these pins.

Here is a photo of this unforgivably super dangerous and deceptively appetizing pin.

What's next? Will there be a civil servant watching me in the bathroom stall for fear of something or other?

Enough.

Please, leave us alone with these needless nanny rules and stop treating everyone as if he is some blithering idiot.

Violence in Pleasantville.

I often have unpleasant interactions with patients in NYC. It is just one of those things that you expect to happen in an urban hospital. I see alcoholics who swear and cuss at everyone close enough for their blurry eyes to make out, drug addicts who threaten to go crazy if they don't get their drugs, and people infected with AIDS and hepatitis who hurl their body fluids at the nurses to make their point. Lets not even mention the paranoid schizophrenics that stab people with their forks, but somehow I have less animosity towards them because I feel that their excuse for lack of self control is more legitimate than the others that I mentioned earlier.

This week, I had another such pleasant interaction with a young man admitted for pain. His pain has been ongoing for years and he mentioned being to more emergency rooms than he could count. I checked his past records and saw numerous normal x-rays, cat scans, and lab tests.  These same studies were repeated during this latest visit, and were once again completely normal. However, he has already gotten some morphine and wanted more of it. His behavior was classic for someone seeking drugs.

So, I told him that he would not receive any more narcotics unless I found a justified reason to administer such medications, and he went ballistic. He tore up the room, damaged expensive medical equipment and made a few decorative changes to the nearby walls. The police arrived, he calmed down and to my surprise, no one wanted to bring up charges against him. None of the administrators, nor the hospital police thought it would be appropriate to have him arrested.  If you account for everything destroyed, it would likely be in the range of 20,000 dollars.

sarc/ No matter, our taxes will pay for it. /sarc.

Why am I so unsettled after this encounter when I had countless similar other encounters? It became obvious to me that the idea of personal responsibility is dead in this culture. Maybe not in the rural mid-west, but certainly here in NYC and many other big cities.  We have become a nation of destroyers and we will self-destruct.

One other item worth mentioning: The violent young man, the police, and the administrator were all black. Someone could say that race had nothing to do with the way this incident was handled, but then there is that whole George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin spectacle going on now.

Who Let The Dogs Out?

Apparently, at a recent Democratic presidential campaign fundraiser dozens of dogs were seen running away from the kitchen. Those attending the fundraiser, wound up eating a hastily ordered pizza.

ASPCA members are suspected in arranging this canine getaway.  The department of justice officials are now considering charging them with domestic terrorism and hate crimes.

According to an unidentified official source, Bo was eaten by the ravenous Obamas and a search is underway for a substitute dog.
...they're still hungry.

The following are some of the comments seen on this topic at Hotair.com

-"If I had a dog, he would look like the one Obama ate."-George Zimmerman

-Now I know why Bo needed to fly on a separate plane.

The state of things.

Another quote from the Sultan Knish.

"Welcome to Utopia. Keep your shiv in your left pocket and your identification papers in your right. The surveillance cameras are watching, taxes are going up, protests have closed off three major streets, there will be no meat or petrol for the next week, if you want to pick up some black market brandy, you'll need some Renminbis. No one takes dollars or euros anymore except the gov stores and they don't have anything but a few basic staples. Your leg hurts but it's still another month before you can see a doctor. The election will be in a week, but there are only two parties, left and lefter. Both promise to fight for the people, but if you get attacked again on the way home, you'll have to fight for yourself."

More Thoughts on Obamascare

This morning, I read an excellent analysis of the free lunch mentality that is being used to promote many government programs, including the affordable scare shaft. That reading inspired me to write my own post on the topic of universal health care in America.

People who are inspired to work in healthcare are often compassionate and self giving individuals. These are the values that society attributes to doctors and medical training institutions have reinforced this view at least as far back as the days of Hippocrates. This view of doctors is further perpetuated through television shows that display dedicated doctors performing herculean resuscitation attempts on the dying. Consider the movie - I am Legend, where a doctor stayed behind while his family was evacuated because he felt obligated to continue helping the victims of a new plague, and needed to remain in the epicenter. This is what society expects from doctors and it is what doctors, to some extent, expect from themselves and their colleagues. However, there comes a point when one has had enough of all this idealism and it typically occurs while most doctors are still in training, during their residency years.

Much of the training occurs in medical centers that cater to the indigent and the poor. There, doctors get to see some really nasty individuals who are hell bent on destroying their lives and don't want to listen to your advice, no matter how nicely you try to speak to them. You risk your life trying to draw blood from a heroin junkie, knowing that if you accidentally stick yourself with that needle you might develop AIDS yourself. In a respiratory isolation room, you try to examine the eyes of an emaciated homeless man, hoping that your mask will protect you from his tuberculous cough. The rewards for such self sacrifice sometimes come in the form of being spit on by an out of control drunkard or verbally abused by either one of the above described lovely individuals, or their family members. We carry on being idealistic crusaders by developing a protective and paternalistic bond to these sick and twisted people and convince ourselves that it is our duty to care for them, because they are so helpless and hopeless. So when the idealistic coat of illusion begins to wear thin, we become labelled as callous.

Another form of abuse all doctors and nurses witness comes in the form of entitled deception. People show up asking for help and they feel that it is their right to have you work for them, without any compensation, because they are sick and must be taken care of. They are often very demanding on the hospital floor, constantly complaining about their food and their tv, and you think to yourself why on earth are they remaining in this hospital room? When time comes to send them home, they won't leave because there is no one to wait on them at home like there is in the hospital. Then you try to work on a solution with a social worker so that they can get a "free" maid at home and they finally agree to leave. Some families drop off their demented parents, and leave for a vacation. By the time you realize that their supposed acute change in mental function most likely occurred over 1 year ago and start trying to reach their family to take them home, they are long gone and unreachable. They will show up about 1 week later and act horrified that you would even consider placing their demented parent in a nursing home. That is not a valid solution for them because "they are so caring"; the reality is that when someone goes to the nursing home, their social security check becomes deposited into that nursing home rather than being left to be spent by the kids. There comes a point when you do not view these free loaders and their free loading families with sympathy. And before you go all teary eyed for the abused and demented elderly, you should realize that their kids were raised this way and most likely mimic their parents from an earlier time. These folks feel an entitlement to their care but hold no obligation to pay for it.

Another group of deceptive freeloaders come in the form of out-of-country visitors. Some fly here to obtain their expensive cancer treatment or a cardiac catherization and as soon as their treatment is done, they fly back to their country. They often do not have a real address and there is no practical way to collect their payment. In several years when they need another procedure, they return and often with a different name and address. We sometimes hear horror stories about some hospital in Mexico where a patient is kept hostage until their bill is fully paid, but there is a good reason for such measures. It would never work in this country because of all our idealistic do-gooders in politics and various forms of administration.

One of the selling points for instituting this affordable health scare shaft, is that it would force people who use medical care but don't currently pay into the system, to pay for it by forcing everyone in this country to contribute. Would it actually accomplish this? Lets consider the above groups and how they would be affected by this legislation. Would it really collect any money from the entitled free-loader who doesn't have a job? No, it wouldn't collect a dime from them, and they will likely be even more demanding than ever. Would obamacare collect anything from tourists who come here for expensive medical procedures? No it wouldn't, and the politicians will not pass any laws to address this problem.

How about the problem that has to do with a legion of lawyers who try to profit from dissatisfied patients. Most of these lawsuits come from communication difficulties between doctors and patients, and considering real world examples I described above, strained communication is the rule rather than an exception. Real professional misconduct rarely gets reported. Often hospitals and insurance companies settle rather than fight off a frivolous suit, because it is cheaper for them. It is a rare case where a doctor will insist on being vindicated in the court, because these doctors also want the nuisance to be over quickly so that they can return to work. Was Tort reform addressed by this healthcare act? No it wasn't.

Proponents of Affordable Care Act claim that it will allow this country to afford its medical expenses by forcing people who do not currently pay for their health care, to pay. That is a lie. The people who scam our hospitals now, will not contribute a dime. The people who pay for their care now, will have to pay even more to afford a myriad of new government agencies that will oversee their prompt payments. The only thing this bill will accomplish is to shift more power and control of our lives into the hands of government bureaucrats, and that was it's only true intention.

SC Debates the Affordable Scare Shaft

The debate is not between conservative and liberal justices, it is between those with integrity and those without. "It's a penalty" and not really a tax.....come on......these jokers should all be facing perjury charges for that line.

Evil racists, each and every one of them: from Obama to the lowest clerk involved in this monstrosity of an administration. Each of them should be charged with a hate crime. If the SCOTUS approves this festering abscess on a donkey's ass, then to hell with them too.

Maybe Congress should pass a few more penalties that can be justified same as this crap. How about a "penalty" applied to everyone who doesn't contribute to the NRA for starters. After all, the second amendment is there for a reason. How about another penalty if you don't buy and eat broccoli? Another penalty if you don't have a membership at COSTCO; just as rational as the ASS (affordable scare shaft) being debated now. The way health insurance works, it's not really an insurance policy anyway; it is more of a buy in bulk payment plan which works very much like a COSTCO membership. Should we all be mandated to purchase state lottery tickets? Oh here is a good plan: since so many gamblers lose more than they can afford, each american (small a for the simple reason that if SC doesn't oppose this shafting of Americans, then there is no more America) should now be mandated to pay for gambling insurance: it's a payment plan that has you pay only the deductible for losses over $1,000; provided you pay a monthly $500.

Obama and other Communists.

Watch this bastard, Danny K Davis, run like the cockroach that he is. The Wikipedia page notes his religion as Baptist. That is a lie, as he is just another Godless Commie bastard.

May Obama soon run from the camera just like this cockroach. Chickens coming home to roost, baby!

Effete Snobs Talking About Politics.

I had a very strange weekend. It started out watching someone driving like a lunatic and cornering so fast that the tires squealed around a nearby mother and her toddler. It turned out this was my parking garage neighbor and he nearly hit a stroller as he sped into the parking spot. As soon as he was stationary, I hurled several choice words in his direction and he jumped out of the car and pressed his huge belly against me, simultaneously screaming all sorts of insults in my direction. Before either of us had a clear headed thought, I was thrown against my car and covered with coffee my garage neighbor previously held in his hand. Instinct took over, and soon he was laying on the ground with me sitting on top of him.

It was so strange, how in an instant, he had turned from angry and menacing to docile and pitiful. I got off, asked him if he was ready to stop, and he agreed to stopping and ran off. I had not fought anyone since I was a teenager, and afterwards I felt great. Since then, I want to fight him again and next time I want him to beg me to stop. In fact, I want to do this every week.

My losses:
1. Had to wash my jacket.
2. I sustained a few minor scratches on my hand.
3. Felt like a fool for getting involved with a nut.
4. Minor dent on side of my car. It's amazing how easy it is to dent a modern car, and fortunately they are just as easy to fix. I simply pushed back the plastic cover that sits just above the wheel and easily pushed the dent out.

My gains:

1. Euphoria. Even for a short while, it is a powerful feeling.
2. Regained sense of physical worth.
3. An important lesson that I needed to relearn involving fighting tactics.
4. Renewed resolve to get into good shape.
5. A clear head, likely also temporary but just as powerful as euphoria.

After I got home and cleaned myself up, I browsed various blogs and took another look at the faces of these blogging heads. Some, I listened to on talk radio today. Most appear as if they have never been in a fight. Empty posturing from the Right, empty posturing from the Left, and endless yakety yak. Lets examine the line up of our Republican presidential candidates. The only who had any fight left in her was Bachmann and she is gone now. Every man left on the podium is hopelessly docile and each sounds like some effete snob.

Will Work For Condom....Or Beg.

What the hell is wrong with these people. She is going broke from buying contraception? Is she buying a Morning-After pill every other day? Does she have to use a pack of condoms every hour? What on earth is she talking about. The really scary part is that she is likely to become a prominent political figure one day and direct our national policy - Heaven forbid. In a sane world, this lunatic would be dismissed from law school and hide her face in shame until she is long forgotten. However, we no longer live among the sane. In this insane asylum, a nut like her passes for the new normal.

The problem with Paul.

Aside from his goofy foreign policy ideas, Ron Paul is often praised for his fiscal conservatism. I was listening to Romney talk about the economy and his talking points seemed empty. Santorum is equally uninspiring. One might even say that both of these guys suffer the same economic delusions that prevail among the Democrats, Socialists, and liberals.

If the whole civilized world has turned into one giant insane asylum, are we better off with another lunatic at the helm or should we risk placing someone sane into the driver's seat? When one looks at Greece, and realistically the entire world is in the same pickle but we just don't want to believe it yet, they are all nuts. Paul may be the only sane person in the room and does that make him more dangerous than the others?
