I watched a show called the Revolution. In general, the show sucks. However, that is one heck of a line they managed to put into the pilot episode.

I think I get to the point that I want to learn and carry - if not too late.

Since Cuomo and Co. changed the rules, most hand guns are illegal. You can apply for a permit and you will have to register the gun and the ammo. It may be better to carry around a can of mace for now.
