The problem with Paul.

Aside from his goofy foreign policy ideas, Ron Paul is often praised for his fiscal conservatism. I was listening to Romney talk about the economy and his talking points seemed empty. Santorum is equally uninspiring. One might even say that both of these guys suffer the same economic delusions that prevail among the Democrats, Socialists, and liberals.

If the whole civilized world has turned into one giant insane asylum, are we better off with another lunatic at the helm or should we risk placing someone sane into the driver's seat? When one looks at Greece, and realistically the entire world is in the same pickle but we just don't want to believe it yet, they are all nuts. Paul may be the only sane person in the room and does that make him more dangerous than the others?

They don't have many options. They were taught nonsense. They live in a world of fantasy. Now mom and dad have gotten old. Their retirement savings have been depleted. Mom and dad cannot support them forever.

Where will they go?

What can they do?

It is without doubt, that they will play the roles of useful idiots.

Who will they follow?

Since I first wrote this, several of the above questions have been answered. They follow the pied pipers of ACORN and others filled with hate and misinformation. They go to work for those who want them as slaves. They are prey for any predator that comes along. Whether that predator comes in form of a pickpocket, a rapist, or a police-badge wearing thug. Race hustlers such as Obama, Jackson, and Sharpton have done very well in such a crowd.

The question that remains is whether any good will come from the imminent conflagration. Whatever good comes of this, will not be from these nuts and ignorants. Maybe the TEA party folks will respond more threateningly than they've thus far. So far the TEA rallies have been civil, but the other side wants violence. One thing is certain, the 2012 election will be chaotic and war-like.

Lets see what the next week brings out; general election for 2011 in only 2 days.

Another CME margin hike and precious metals take a beating.

The sell-off began Thursday and intensified over Friday morning. At 5 PM Eastern time - Friday, we learned about across the board margin hikes by CME. I guess the big banks were just lucky to sell their PM holdings a day ahead. It couldn't have been anything illegal like insider trading... Yeah, free market my ass.

Turner wins NY District 9 Election.

Landslide victory in Brooklyn: Turner wins 66:33. Queens also presented the GOP candidate with a victory, although not as dramatic one as was seen in the neighboring, more sensible, and more famous NYC borough of Brooklyn. To see complete election results go here.

For those not familiar with the NYC landscape, the borough of Queens has more cemeteries than any other place in NYC, maybe the country. Democrats blamed this loss on the unusually low turnout of dead voters and ACORN promised to redouble their effort to submit phony registrations during the general election of 2012.

I want to thank all fellow New-Yorkers for doing what's right. Especially, I want to thank my parents for getting themselves and their friends out to vote. Finally, we had an election where our votes were not wasted and it feels good.

Good luck Bob Turner and God speed to your delivery of our mutual message to Obama and the other Marxist rats; give them a high middle finger salute from myself and your new constituents.

Update: Looks like a few more zombies arrived late over in Queens, giving Werpin an edge in that awful borough. However, the Brooklyn vote still produced a decisive victory for Turner.
